Get People to Sponsor You
78 Records in Perth hosted a National Bandanna Day fundraiser with a Twist in 2007: Kim, who works at 78 Records has worn a bandanna for 15 years. He pledged to take-off his bandanna on National Bandanna Day if 1000 people signed a petition - each signature cost $2.00. Over 1200 people signed the petition and 78 records raised over $2500 for CanTeen!
Hold a Competition Between Teams Within Your Business
Merribrook Corporate Outdoors specialises in outdoor, fun team building events. These events involve themed team challenges, team games and team leadership development courses such as The Amazing Race and Safari Challenge. For these events, Merribrook separates their clients into groups by giving them different bandanna designs to wear. They ask their clients to pay for the bandannas, as their donation to CanTeen. Merribrook has raised over $5200 for CanTeen!
